Bobby Jones – The 10th Hole Collection

An old favourite has been given an update.

Bobby Jones is one of the original legends of golf. He remains the only golfer ever to win all four major championships in the same year. He also had a unique relationship with St Andrews. During his first appearance on the Old Course, he tore up his Scorecard after 11 holes and disqualified himself – such was his distaste at how he was playing. He went on to win the Open Championship on the Old Course in 1927, by which point he had come to love the town and its people:

“If I had ever been sat down and told I was to play at only one course and nowhere else for the rest of my life, I would have chosen The Old Course at St Andrews.”

He won the British Amateur in 1930 on the Old Course, and in 1958 was named Freeman of St Andrews (becoming only the second American to be named so – the first being Benjamin Franklin in 1758).

The 10th Hole of the Old Course is named after Bobby Jones and the inspiration behind a clothing collection. The 10th Hole collection is exclusively available from our website or in the Old Course and Links Clubhouse Shops in St Andrews. Comprising of Cerulean Blue, Poppy Red, Black and White, it is a completely technical range of Polo Shirts, ¼ Zip Sweaters and Slipovers.

Each fabric used has moisture wicking properties as well as cooling technology and breathability. Featuring The Old Course St Andrews Links Logo – the official logo for the Old Course in contrasting colours to match the colour popping zipper trims, the garments also feature an exclusively designed 10th Hole logo.
