Castle comes out of hibernation

The beginning of the month saw The Castle Course Clubhouse come out of its annual Low Season hibernation with staff busy setting up the lounge ready for the influx of golfers. We opened our doors on the 1st of March and it’s felt great to get back into the swing of things in 2016.

Over the winter we were busy sprucing up our furniture here in the lounge. Our new leather backed chairs are a welcome addition to the decor and we’ve even thrown in a dash of tartan to our window seats. Rather fetching, I’m sure you’d all agree!

And the view? Well you’ll be glad to know that hasn’t changed one bit.

Elsewhere the bar is fully stocked and our team will be working as hard as ever to keep the drinks flowing for our golfers this season.

The chefs are cooking up a storm straight from our fresh new menu! Check it out here. They’re all rather camera shy in the kitchen but we managed to coax two photos out of the team, so meet Junior Sous Chef, Ian and Sous Chef, Winnie!
