A busy holiday period at the Swilcan Restaurant

Happy New Year everyone! Christmas has been and gone and we now find ourselves in an Open year at the Home of Golf; how exciting!

The above snowy image of the Links Clubhouse sadly wasn’t taken this holiday period (we might yet see some snow in St Andrews) but it was a hive of activity as we laid on festive lunches for hundreds of customers in the Swilcan Restaurant.

Our chefs cooked up all the festive favourites as well as delicious desserts like soufflé and homemade rice puddings.

It doesn’t all happen behind the scenes though; special mention to our front of house staff who put a great deal of preparation into making each table that extra bit special.

Here’s to 2015! We can’t wait for the year ahead. Can you?
