BMW back at The Castle Course

BMW rolled back into town for their annual golf event; the BMW Golf Cup International. Qualification events are played all around the world with the British National Finals held at The Castle Course this year. It was their second year with us after a successful showing in 2016. The Food and Beveridge Team’s responsibility was to host and keep the competitors fed and watered, but not before we had a bit of fun with BMW’s top-of-the-range cars…

It wasn’t all fun and games though. We served around 100 guests on the final day, which included the competitors as well as their friends and families. The good old fish and chips were a crowd favourite and The Castle burgers too. For dessert, our sundaes, local ice creams and brownies flew out of the kitchen. All was washed down with a few cold beverages.

Speaking of drinks, extra care had to be taken when storing the show cars with our drinks deliveries coming and going. After all, you wouldn’t want to scratch or dent one!

Displaying them on the golf course was also a wee bit tricky, but what better back drop to display the ‘Ultimate Driving Machines’?

It was a super couple of days being part of the hosting duties and the golfers seemed to enjoy themselves even more so. Good luck to everyone participating in the World Finals in South Africa!
